So say the first data

Following the first results of testing SoC Exynos 2400 , which may still appear in the Galaxy S24, the characteristics of this platform were also published on the Web.

According to these data, it will contain a 10-core CPU! We have already seen this before, but manufacturers have long abandoned such a number of cores in SoCs. The configuration of the processor part will include one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 3.1 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.9 GHz, three of the same cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A520 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz . The amount of cache memory of the third level will be 8 MB.

The Xclipse 940 graphics core will receive 768 stream processors based on the RDNA 2 architecture. In addition, the new SoC will support cameras up to 320 megapixels, which hints at the possibility of such sensors in the future.

What is important is the alleged support for recording video in 8K at 60 fps, which platforms do not currently know how to do. From the rest, we can note support for LPDDR5, UFS 4.0 and the Samsung SF4P process technology.

Information was recently shared by a very active insider Revegnus (@Tech_Reve), who previously accurately reported the first details about the new platforms of the Snapdragon 8 and Exynos families.
