The premiere of Samsung’s next foldable flagship is expected soon – in July or August, and Ice Universe already has data on the screen and appearance. Based on these data, a render was made. The whistleblower accompanied him with the following text: “ Why does Samsung like to design custom screens? A deformed company, a deformed aesthetic, a deformed leader and a deformed screen .”

Ice Universe further clarified his criticism: “ I mean Samsung can expand the screen from 6.2 to 6.4 inches without changing the overall width of 67.1mm just by shrinking the bezel a little, the Chinese brand can do that I think that Samsung can do it too. But, unfortunately, nothing has changed with the Fold5 .” In the render below, he showed how it is possible to fit a larger screen into a smartphone with the same dimensions, and how it will look like.
“ Just expand the outer screen, no need to change anything, no need to change the inner screen, no need to change the case size, and it won’t interfere with your usage habits ,” the insider concluded.
If the whistleblower’s data turns out to be true (and it almost always happens), then the Galaxy Z Fold5 will have a screen of the same 6.2-inch diagonal as the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Fold2.
