This segment will only grow
Ferrari published its quarterly report, confirming that it shipped 3,459 cars to customers between July and September this year. This is 271 cars more than in the same period last year. The share of hybrid models was 51%, and the company is gradually increasing this segment.
In the second quarter of 2023, sales of gas-electric Ferraris accounted for 43% of the total. The line-up includes nine pure petrol and four electrified models, including the SF90 and 296 families, each of which includes coupes and roadsters. They make up the bulk of Ferrari’s deliveries at the moment.
Ferrari already sells more hybrids than ICE-only cars.
The report also indicates increased sales of the 812 Competizione A roadster and the Purosangue crossover. The release of the collectible Daytona SP3 is proceeding according to plan, while the F8 spyder is coming to the end of its life cycle.
According to Ferrari’s own forecast, by 2030, just 20% of its cars will remain pure gasoline, 40% will be hybrids, and 40% will be electric vehicles. The first supercar without an internal combustion engine is expected only in 2025, and according to the latest official data, its development is ahead of schedule.
