Probably soon
Microsoft is hinting that its Copilot for Windows 11 system will soon receive support for third-party plugins.
The company confirmed this in a recent developer survey. To be more precise, there Microsoft directly asks the developers for their opinion on those very third-party modules for Copilot. Microsoft plans to interview some developers through Microsoft Teams.
Fill Windows 11 with artificial intelligence.
Recall that Copilot is a chatbot built right into Windows 11 based on the GPT language model, which is already used in various Microsoft products. Copilot, unlike other solutions from the company, has access to system OS controls and documents, as well as the ability to open and manage applications. And third-party plugins will allow you to expand the capabilities of AI in a much more active and diverse way.
It’s unclear exactly when such a feature will become available, but it probably won’t be long.
