First details and screenshots of the mobile version of Apex Legends revealed
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have unveiled the first details of the mobile version of Apex Legends Battle Royale – a shareware game with separate servers.
It also became known that Apex Legends Mobile is being developed specifically for mobile devices. The game will feature individual season passes and content, and cross-platform multiplayer matches are disabled.
Respawn Entertainment hasn’t announced a release date but is set to launch its first regional beta on Android in India and the Philippines in late April. In the coming months, the studio will add other regions to testing.
Electronic Arts’ previous attempt to port Apex Legends to a new platform was unsuccessful. Last month, the Nintendo Switch version of the game received an average rating of 54 out of 100 on Metacritic. As we wrote earlier, this version has major visual and performance issues.
Apex Legends is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
