Sam & Max Save the World Remastered will go on sale on December 2 this year for PC ( Steam, GOG ) and Nintendo Switch. On a PC, the cost of the game is 435 rubles, on the Nintendo hybrid console, pre-orders have not yet started.

Owners of Telltale Games’ original first season of Sam & Max on Steam or GOG will receive a 50% discount when purchasing the updated version. The offer is valid until December 31st.

The remaster promises to add support for the 16: 9 aspect ratio and modern resolutions, updated soundtrack, dynamic lighting, and improved speech and lip-sync.

In addition, Skunkape Games redesigned the interface and introductory video, re-shoot some scenes, and added five new songs: “This is a reprint look, sounds and plays like a game made in 2020 instead of 2006”.

According to the description of Sam & Max Save the World Remastered on the Skunkape Games website, the updated version will receive an English dub and text translation in nine languages, including Russian.

Judging by the header of the Skunkape Games website, in the future the team also plans to modernize the two remaining seasons of the Sam & Max series: Beyond Time and Space and The Devil’s Playhouse.
