At CES 2021, Razer also announced Project Brooklyn, a state-of-the-art next-generation carbon fibre gaming chair with RGB lighting and a 60-inch display.
Flexible 60-inch gaming chair of the future unveiled
The chair sits on an adjustable wired platform, 4D armrests that can be stowed away, and a fold-out table so gamers can comfortably use a keyboard and mouse or gamepad.
The design is equipped with proprietary RGB backlighting, while the display is panoramic and highly curved. The display is designed to be flexible so that when not in use it can be folded into the chair’s back. This, as conceived by the creators, will be done with one button. Also, the chair should receive a surround sound system and a feedback system in the back and seat.
Razer has said it is a concept for now. The company intends to continue to develop Project Brooklyn and conduct tests with leading esports players. Whether this chair will become a commercial product is hard to say yet.
At CES 2021, Razer also unveiled Project Hazel, “the world’s smartest face mask. “
