Flexible smartphones Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G get One UI 3.0 beta based on Android 11

Last week it was revealed that Samsung was having difficulty rolling out One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 for some smartphones. For example, the Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones suffered from increased power consumption and periodic app crashes. The company intended to postpone the launch of fresh software until the problems were fixed. However, the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G received One UI 3.0 today.

These are the first foldable Samsung devices to receive the beta version of the newest One UI 3.0, which contains many designs and functionality changes. The latest firmware is currently only available to users in South Korea, but it will soon be available in other regions as well. Galaxy Z Flip users who want to test One UI 3.0 must register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app. After that, they will be able to get One UI 3.0 as an OTA update.

In addition, Samsung has confirmed that users of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 series smartphones will receive the beta version of the new firmware by the end of this week.
