The new clause of user agreement protects couriers
Yandex has added a new clause to the user agreement for the Yandex.Foodservice, which protects couriers from incorrect handling.

Now users of Yandex.Food and Yandex.Lavka can block or deny access to part of the functionality in case of “rude, impolite, incorrect, endangering life, health or property and/or capable of causing moral harm” about employees, delivery representatives, restaurants, shops.
Yandex explained: “A rude, emphatically disrespectful attitude towards couriers is absolutely unacceptable; in such situations, we are on their side.”
Yandex did all this for a reason. The fact is that an ugly story preceded the user agreement’s change with the Russian Instagram “star” Daria Zoteeva, also known as Instasamka. Zoteeva warned on Instagram that she would “punish” couriers without gloves. Then a video appeared on the network showing how the courier takes off his glove to use the smartphone, and it is doused (probably coffee) and called “creature.” After that, the Union of Russian Couriers called on Yandex to take action against Zoteeva. Now her account in Yandex. Food has been blocked.
