According to representatives of the publishing house, the work on the patch was carried out for seven years. The work resulted in 370 fixes, 45 changes, and 61 new features in the long-awaited patch.

For example, the developers added support for new languages ​​(including Russian), a window option and a mode for streamers, and also improved compatibility with various operating systems.

As for Worms Armageddon itself, with the release of Update 3.8, more than 70 advanced settings for custom matches have appeared in the game – access to these parameters will open after completing the single-player mode.

In addition, the creators significantly increased the smoothness of animations: before they worked at 50 frames / s. Now the system fills in the missing frames by interpolation.

Worms Armageddon was released in 1999 exclusively for PC. Currently, the project is available exclusively on the Steam digital distribution service. The cost of “Armageddon” there is 349 rubles.

In 2020, the Worms series celebrates its 25th anniversary. On this occasion, Team17 is preparing for the release of the next part of the franchise – Worms Rumble. In the new game, battles will take place in real-time.
