The game page on Steam is already active; those who wish can subscribe to availability notifications. The original game Forza Horizon 4 was released in 2018, the developers regularly support it with various updates, adding many new cars and a “battle royale” mode.

Forza Horizon 4 customers on Steam will receive the Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions DLCs and all currently released vehicle kits. Steam users will also be able to play with Microsoft Store game owners, console users, and Xbox cloud users thanks to cross-platform support.

According to Playground Studios Senior Producer Tom Butcher, players won’t be able to transfer their progress from another platform to the Steam version due to technical limitations. However, the position on the leaderboard and the status of the club will remain.
