The photographs will be digital for the first time for this line. You can then print it on a compact photo printer.
Fujifilm has introduced a miniature Instax Pal camera, which, according to the manufacturer, has become the first fully digital representative of the line. Previously, models of the Instax series were allowed not only to take a photo but also to quickly print it on special film. Instax Pal, in turn, can take photographs and send digital photos to a smartphone. If desired, you can print them on the compact Instax Mini Link 2 printer, which is included in the kit.
The company notes that Instax Pal is designed, of course, not for professional photographers, but for those who like to take photos at any time, literally on the go. The mini-camera weighs less than 41 grams, is equipped with a 4.9-megapixel 1/5-inch CMOS sensor and a wide-angle lens, shutter speed ranges from 1/4 to 1/8000 seconds, and light sensitivity ranges from 100 to 1600 ISO. The built-in memory is enough to store 50 pictures, the rest can be placed on a microSD card.

The camera’s detachable ring can be used as a viewfinder, attached to your finger, or used as a stand. The device’s lithium-ion battery is charged via the USB-C port. Among the fun features, it is worth mentioning the customizable shutter sound, it can even be any recorded phrase, for example, the camera will shout “Smile!” before shooting. The resulting photos can be viewed and processed in the mobile application. It also allows you to remotely press the shutter button. The Fujifilm Instax Pal, Mini Link 2, and 10-pack of instant film will be available in the US in late October for $199.95.
