The Chinese company GAC Motor in the Russian market does not skim the cream of the current situation. It is now an underdog among Chinese brands with only about 437-487 cars sold in the whole of last year. But the company does not intend to give up and is going to open new dealerships in the Russian Federation. There are currently 19 GAC dealerships in Russia, but the company plans to open 30 more by the end of the year.

The Russian representative office of the company is already accepting applications. The GAC considers Moscow and St. Petersburg to be its priority cities.  

The company is also going to bring new models to Russia. Now the GAC line in Russia includes only three models: the GS8 and GS5 crossovers, as well as the GN8 minivan. Moreover, the first model is mainly in demand. But very soon the situation will begin to change. In the spring, the second generation GS8, a new generation of the GN8 minivan and a completely new GS3 crossover, which will replace the outdated GS5 model, will be imported into the country.
