Pre-orders will begin on April 18
The GAC Trumpchi E9, the latest hybrid minivan with a range of over 1,000 km, has been unveiled and will be available for pre-order at the Shanghai Auto Show starting April 18.
It is reported that in terms of body dimensions, the GAC Trumpchi E9 will repeat the GAC Trumpchi M8 Grandmaster: the dimensions of the latter are 5212 x 1893 x 1823 mm with a wheelbase of 3070 mm. The GAC Trumpchi E9 creates the visual effect of a false roof as the roof pillars are black, as are the tinted windows.
As for the front, the car is recognizable thanks to the large grille, complemented by three-dimensional chrome strips and L-shaped headlights on both sides.

The car will be powered by a plug-in hybrid system based on the 2.0TM engine developed by GAC, but specific power ratings are not yet known. The battery will be GAC’s latest Triple Lithium 2.0 battery. The range on a clean WLTC electric motor will exceed 100 km, and the total range will exceed 1000 km with a full tank and a full charge. Fuel consumption for the WLTC and NEDC cycles is 6.05 liters and 5.8 liters per 100 km, respectively.
The cabin has a large central screen, you can also see a digital instrument panel, a multifunction steering wheel and a gear lever.
