Galaxy A22 will be Samsung’s most affordable 5G smartphone
Samsung is slated to announce a number of relatively inexpensive fifth-generation (5G) smartphones next year, according to internet sources. Some models will be priced below $ 200.
In particular, the Galaxy A32 5G will debut in early 2021. It is credited with having a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor with an integrated 5G modem, a display with a centre cutout in the upper area, a quadruple main camera, as well as a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. This model will add to the range of mid-range devices: the price will be about $ 365.
The Galaxy A22 5G smartphone is expected to appear in the second half of the coming year – it will become the most affordable fifth-generation Samsung device with support for mobile communications. The characteristics of the device were not disclosed, but its price is called – about $ 185.
Thus, as noted by network sources, Samsung plans to actively compete with Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo in the entry-level 5G smartphone segment.
In general, next year Samsung expects to maintain its status as the largest manufacturer of smartphones for fifth-generation networks.
