Sales should start on August 11 in South Korea

Well-known online leaker Ice Universe reports that Samsung Electronics plans to raise domestic prices for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5, which will go on sale next month’s 11th.

The factory price of the Galaxy Fold 5 in the domestic market is around $1,655 for the 256GB version and $1,750 for the 512GB version, about $80 more than the Galaxy Fold 4 line.

As for the Galaxy Flip 5, the 256GB and 512GB versions should cost $1,100 and $1,200 respectively, which is $40 more than the previous generation.

These prices are for South Korea. According to Ice Universe, Samsung is currently in final negotiations with three major mobile operators.
