And a new platform
The characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 folding smartphone from a fairly reliable source have appeared on the Web.
According to these data, the novelty will be equipped with a 120-Hz AMOLED main screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, like the current generation. But the external display will become much larger: 3.4 inches based on the AMOLED panel. However, the Motorola Razr Plus (Moto Razr 40 Ultra) has an even larger external display.
Galaxy Z Flip5 will be very similar to Flip4, but with a larger outer screen
SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will serve as the heart, there will also be 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, a dual camera with 12 MP sensors and a 3700 mAh battery with 25-watt charging.
That is, in general, there are few changes regarding the current generation: a new platform and a larger external screen. Recall, presumably, this year Flip5 along with Fold5 will be shown earlier than usual : already at the end of July.
Insider Yogesh Brar has already published a lot of confirmed leaks. Of the latter, he leaked the parameters of Redmi A1, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro a few days before their official premieres, and also showed live the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G, the world’s first Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 phone.
