This became known thanks to the players who are still logging into Gears Pop !. Apparently, the popularity of the project is extremely low. According to a screenshot posted by one of the gamers, the game servers will close on April 26, 2021:  “Thank you, Gears! Together we fought countless waves of the horde and defeated enemies on the Versus battlefield,  but sadly Gears Pop! will close on April 26, 2021. In the meantime, we’re bringing back some of our most popular events, increasing challenge rewards, and increasing the drop rate of Legendary badges. In-app purchases have already been disabled. Thank you for your understanding and support. “

Since the release of Gears Pop! a little over a year has passed: the game was released on August 22, 2019, for PC, iOS, and Android.
