The developers of CD Project RED decided to talk more about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 Overdrive RT add-on, which will bring path-based effects to the game.
For the demonstration, the authors used a PC with Ryzen 9 7900X and GeForce RTX 4090. That is, in fact, the most productive that is currently on the market. Of course, you can choose a slightly faster CPU, but in 4K the effect of this will be negligible.
As you can see, sometimes the RTX 4090 handles the game without DLSS enabled. In a number of scenes, performance is above 40 fps. However, as we already know from the past demonstration of the Poles, in other situations things can be much worse.
Scenes with 16 fps were not shown to us anymore, but there are places where the performance drops below 30 fps, which is also very bad, especially for the ultra-expensive and most powerful 3D card at the moment.

Activating DLSS 3 helps increase performance up to 80 fps without frame generation mode and over 120 fps with this mode. True, DLSS 3 in this case needs to be switched to Performance mode, that is, in Quality mode, performance will be lower.
The gain from DLSS 3 is certainly impressive. In this case, only after the release of the update will it be possible to fully evaluate the impact on image quality. By the way, today we were also able to see that DLSS 2 is ahead of FSR 2 in this parameter .
