It will be released in 2024
It looks like MediaTek is indeed integrating Nvidia graphics cores into its smartphone platforms. The DigiTimes resource has already talked about this before , and now it reports that the first such SoC will be a new flagship solution that will be released next year. That is, it could be Dimensity 9300.
GeForce RTX in smartphones next year.
Interestingly, MediaTek platforms with Nvidia GPUs will appear not only for smartphones, but also for PCs. Nvidia technologies, including its AI tensor cores, will allow MediaTek to create a performance solution for laptops and also enter the Arm PC platform race. Recall that Qualcomm has the same plans, and even Microsoft is going to develop its Arm platform for Windows.
What kind of GPU the Dimensity 9300 can get is still anyone’s guess, but it is most likely that this will be a solution on the current Ada Lovelace architecture, and this is very good, since the architecture has proven to be very energy efficient.
