The first photos of Intel Granite Rapids processors have appeared on the Web, which will replace the recently launched Sapphire Rapids.

These CPUs will receive the new Redwood Cove architecture, switch to the new Intel 4 or Intel 3 process technology and use the new LGA7529 socket. And the processors will be huge.

There is no exact data on the number of cores, but about 120 cores are reported. For comparison: the current Sapphire Rapids, depending on the version, the flagships offer 56 or 60 cores.

New processors are expected next year. Another distinguishing feature will be a TDP of 500 watts.
The insider YuuKi_AnS, who shared the data, was the first to publish a photo of the Sapphire Rapids processor without a cover two years ago, and recently he was the first to reveal the characteristics of the Xeon CPU Max line.
