Gigabyte announced the release of a mechanical keyboard Aorus K1, addressed to fans of computer games. It uses Cherry MX Red switches.

Gigabyte Aorus K1 Keyboard Uses Cherry MX Red Mechanical Switches

These are linear characteristic switches. The working force is 45 ± 15 g, the actuation stroke is 2 mm, the full stroke is 4 mm. The resource of the switches exceeds 100 million operations. You can record macros and save them in your own keyboard memory.

The keyboard is decorated with RGB Fusion 2.0 backlight, which can be synchronized with the backlight of other Aorus devices. The backlight of each key can be individually configured.

To connect to a computer, a two-meter USB cable is used. The polling frequency is 1000 Hz. The dimensions of the keyboard are 440 x 130 x 40 mm, weight – 1125 g.
