Gigabyte is preparing an update to the Aero and G-Series laptop families for gamers
VideoCardz reports that Gigabyte will soon announce new gaming notebooks of the Aero and G-Series families. The hardware base of laptops will be the Intel Tiger Lake-H platform with eleventh-generation Core processors.
In particular, the Aero 17 HDR and Aero 15 OLED models will be on display. The first will receive a 17.3-inch 4K display (3840 × 2160 pixels) with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and 100 percent coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. The talk is about using the chip Core i9-11980HK (2.6-5.0 GHz) or Core i7-11800H (2.3-4.6 GHz). Buyers will be able to choose between versions with graphics cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (16/8 GB), GeForce RTX 3070 (8 GB), and GeForce RTX 3060 (6 GB).
The Aero 15 OLED laptop will feature a 15.6-inch 4K AMOLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and 100 percent DCI-P3 color space. The choice of processors and graphics accelerators is similar to the older model.
The G-Series family will include laptop computers Gigabyte G7 2021 and Gigabyte G5 2021. They will be endowed with a Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) screen measuring 17.3 and 15.6 inches diagonally, respectively. The panel refresh rate will be 144 Hz; 72% coverage of the NTSC color space is mentioned. The older of the two new products will receive a Core i7-11800H processor, the younger – Core i5-11400H (2.7-4.5 GHz). It is possible to install an accelerator GeForce RTX 3050 Ti or GeForce RTX 3050 with 4 GB of memory in both cases.
