Gigabyte registers multiple versions of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in the EEC registry
Several models of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards made by Gigabyte were found in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). According to the resource VideoCardz, citing its sources, this model of the GeForce RTX 30-series video card will appear on the market immediately after the GeForce RTX 3070, that is, next month.
In particular, the following models were found in the EEC database:
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB Aorus Master (GV-N306TAORUS M-8GD);
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB Gaming OC (GV-N306TGAMING OC-8GD);
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB Eagle OC (GV-N306TEAGLE OC-8GD);
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB Eagle (GV-N306TEAGLE-8GD).According to the latest rumors, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model is based on the NVIDIA GA104-200 GPU with Ampere architecture, manufactured using Samsung’s 8nm process technology. The chip is equipped with 4864 CUDA cores. Like the GeForce RTX 3070, the younger model will receive 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with support for a 256-bit bus. Probably, its effective frequency will be 14 GHz, which will give a total bandwidth of 448 GB / s.
It is assumed that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti models from various manufacturers will differ little from the already announced versions of the GeForce RTX 3070. The younger card will most likely receive almost the same printed circuit board as the more productive brother. Changes in its equipment will be minimal and mainly related to the configuration of the power supply circuit of the GPU and memory. According to rumors, the younger model will require about 180 watts to work. Recall that for the GeForce RTX 3070, the declared power consumption level is 220 W.
Resource VideoCardz indicates that some retailers have already added to their database information about the models GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Moreover, with a very interesting headline, which hints at the confidentiality of card data during the first half of October. Thus, we can assume that the announcement of new items will take place in the second half of next month.
You shouldn’t pay attention to the cost of the card in the image above. This is a “stub price” – a common practice for retailers, which will be changed after the announcement. According to recent rumors, the price of the reference version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti could be around $ 400.
