Gigabyte to release flagship Aorus Radeon RX 6900 XT Xtreme WaterForce WB graphics card with massive water block
Gigabyte is going to release the graphics accelerator Aorus Radeon RX 6900 XT Xtreme WaterForce WB. The novelty is highlighted by the equipment with a water block for connection to a liquid cooling system. The VideoCardz portal shared images of the video card.
The Aorus Radeon RX 6900 XT Xtreme WaterForce WB uses a completely custom PCB with three 8-pin auxiliary power connectors.
Currently, the frequency characteristics of the new product are unknown, but the model will be based on selected Navi 21 XTXH GPUs, characterized by a higher overclocking potential.
The set of external video interfaces for the video card is also non-standard. It includes two HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The USB Type-C connector available in the reference version of the Radeon RX 6900 XT is absent here.
The installed water block of the liquid cooling system turned out to be quite thick, so that the novelty will have a two-slot design. Note that the water block is responsible for removing heat from the GPU and the power supply circuits and memory chips. The date of the official announcement of the Aorus Radeon RX 6900 XT Xtreme WaterForce WB model is still unknown.
