Gigabyte Unveils $ 1,500 43-inch 4K Quantum Dot 144Hz Gaming Monitor
Gigabyte held a special event in Vietnam to showcase several new products. Among them was a huge 43-inch Aorus FV43U gaming monitor. The novelty matrix is built using the technology of quantum dots (Quantum Dot), has a 4K resolution, and offers a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The manufacturer has not yet clarified whether the monitor supports the HDMI 2.1 standard but indicates that the new product is perfect for use with a PC and a new generation of game consoles.
The monitor claims a 10-bit matrix with 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The peak brightness of new items is 1000 cd / m 2. The Aorus FV43U has already received Vesa DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
The response speed of the Aorus FV43U monitor matrix is declared at 1 ms (MPRT).
Some Asian retailers have already started opening pre-orders for the new product. For example, in Japan, the Aorus FV43U is priced at 168,000 yen (about $ 1518).
The new product received a price tag of 34 990 000 Vietnamese dongs in the Vietnamese market, approximately equal to $ 1517.
