Global versions of smartphones Vivo X60 will receive Pixel Shift technology, like a DSLR
Vivo X60 smartphones have been on sale in China for some time, and will soon be announced globally. And today it became known that the international versions may differ significantly from the Chinese ones.
But something else is more interesting. The source claims that all three smartphones will receive Pixel Shift technology. The essence of the technology is a microscopic shift of the image sensor by one pixel in order to obtain information about all colors for each pixel. This technology is commonly found in large DSLR cameras.
In this case, usually for its implementation, four images are enough – one with a shift in each direction. Vivo smartphones will supposedly take eight photos, and the software will then create one of them. In the upcoming devices, the technology will be implemented through a special suspension for the sensor.
Interestingly, allegedly all three models of the line in the global market will receive this technology for their main camera.
