The authors of the PBKreviews channel were among the first to conduct a drop test of the Pixel 8 Pro smartphone. Unlike the authors of PhoneBuff, who conduct such tests using a robotic arm, the authors of PBKreviews simply throw the smartphone on the ground.
Google Pixel 8 Pro turned out to be a tough nut to crack.
However, in this case, the results turned out to be interesting in any case, after all the falls, Google’s new product did not receive serious damage. The smartphone escaped with minor chips and scratches, but no large cracks appeared on the glass.
Of course, like any modern glass smartphone, it is better not to drop the Pixel 8 Pro, but still, this test gives hope that if an accidental drop occurs, the smartphone will survive it without any special consequences.
