Android 13 beta 2.1 is now available for installation
Google announced yesterday the availability of Android 13 beta 2.1, which is the latest version of its new operating system, which arrives two weeks after the launch of the beta 2 version. And as you may have noticed by the version number, it only has a few corrections and does not have new features.
According to Google, this new Android 13 beta 2.1 is a small update with the following corrections:
- Fixed an issue where typing in the search bar resulted in an empty list of suggestions.
- Fixed an issue where devices would freeze and restart when activating the hotspot.
- Fixed an issue where a continuous call dialing sound could be heard in the background during a phone call.
- Fixed an issue where devices would freeze and restart after turning off Android Auto.
The new version is now available for download for programmers and public testers who are part of the beta program. If that’s the case, just go to your device’s settings and force search for a system update. Android 13 Beta 2.1 will appear and can be installed. Otherwise, go experimenting in the next few hours.
