Google Simplifies Testing New Chrome Features With New Experiments Section

Google decided to make it easier to test new features for users of the branded Chrome browser. The program has a new panel Experiments, which provides access to functions in development. One-click is enough to access it.

A new tube icon will appear between the list of extensions and the user profile icon. After clicking on it, the user will have access to a list of experimental features that the Chrome team wants to get more feedback during the development phase. It currently includes a reading list, tab search, and tab scrolling, which allows you to scroll through the row of tabs when it is full. An explanation is available for each function, as well as a “Send Feedback” button. Essentially, Experiments is a more intuitive interface for the chrome: // flags page.

Thanks to this innovation, users will try out the most exciting upcoming features of Chrome early on without risking rash actions to disrupt the browser. The Experiments section is already available in Chrome 91 on the Canary channel and is coming soon to the Dev and Beta channels.
