Gran Saga Creators Announce Fantasy MMORPG Chrono Odyssey For Console, PC, iOS & Android
PIXEL has unveiled Chrono Odyssey, an epic fantasy MMORPG about time and space. It is slated to be released on consoles, PCs, and even mobile devices running iOS and Android in 2022, with testing expected to begin in 2021. The trailer boasts excellent graphics, but how much it matches the game is hard to say.
Chrono Odyssey, formerly known as Project S, is an epic fantasy MMORPG about time and space. This project tells about the special organization Idraiginn, waging a large-scale war against 12 gods. The project is being created on Unreal Engine 4, and the universe is planned to be developed with the help of secondary products like novels, comics, TV series, and so on.
In Chrono Odyssey, players will be offered a huge world with a lot of stories, a large universe, and realistic graphics. Moreover, players will be able to appreciate professional systems that go beyond the time and space of the map, random dungeons with many spaces, large-scale RvR (Realm versus Realm) content, strategic dimension, and action-packed battles.
Chrono Odyssey is led by PIXEL CEO Spike Bong-gun Bae, known for DK Online and the Seven Knights. The project began to be developed in 2019. It will offer different graphics, user interface,s and controls on different platforms. By the way, the well-known composer of game music Cris Velasco, who previously took part in the work on the God of War, StarCraft, and Overwatch series, participated in the creation of the musical accompaniment.
Thanks to the success of its first project, Gran Saga, as well as high expectations for the second, PIXEL was able to raise 30 billion won ($ 27 million) in additional investment from Aspex, SAEHAN Venture Capital, and Altos Ventures.
