Growing at a record pace Realme will release an inexpensive smartphone with a Snapdragon 460 chip
The fast-growing Chinese brand Realme will soon announce a new low-cost smartphone based on the Qualcomm hardware platform. A device codenamed RMX2194 is seen in Geekbench.
The new product uses a motherboard with Bengal cipher. It provides for the use of the Snapdragon 460 processor, which contains eight processing cores with a clock speed of up to 1.8 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X11 LTE cellular modem.
The smartphone carries 4 GB of RAM onboard. The operating system Android 10 is installed. Display and camera parameters have not yet been disclosed, but it is obvious that the new product will add to the range of available devices. Observers believe that the device will enter the C-series, which already includes models such as Realme C17 and Realme C15.
It should be noted that sales of Realme smartphones are growing at a record pace. Counterpoint Technology Market Research estimates that the company sold 14.8 million smartphones in the third quarter of this year. This is 45% more than a year ago and 132% more compared to the second quarter of 2020. In the ranking of the world’s leading suppliers, Realme is in seventh place.
