Guilty Gear: Strive Developers Confirmed Second Open Beta – Mid May
As expected, the developers of the anime fighting game Guilty Gear: Strive from the Japanese studio Arc System Works have confirmed plans for a second open beta.
Recall that the first tests of this kind took place in February. Since then, the release of Guilty Gear: Strive has been postponed, so Arc System Works has additional time to finalize the game.
As it became known, the second “beta” of Guilty Gear: Strive will begin on May 14 this year at 6:00 Moscow time and will end on May 16 at 17:59 Moscow time. The preload will open on May 7 at 18:00 Moscow time.
The second open beta of Guilty Gear: Will take place only on PS4 and PS5. There is no need to re-download the game client if the user has retained it from the previous round of trials.
It is also reported that an active PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to access the online beta modes of Guilty Gear: Strive. In addition, participants will be able to try crossplay between PS4 and PS5.
As part of the second open “beta” of Guilty Gear: Strive, users will be allowed to play for all 15 characters (including Anji Mito and I-No) in Versus and Network modes, as well as in training and education.
The release of Guilty Gear: Strive is expected on June 11 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, and PS5. The Expanded and Complete Editions include a 3-day Early Access, which recently includes all of the game’s content.
