Halo Infinite developer resume hinted at abandoning Xbox One version

A Twitter user under the pseudonym JoeMiller101 noted that the resume of Halo Infinite Artistic Chad Mirshak on LinkedIn does not mention Xbox One.

We will remind, at the end of August, rumours about a possible refusal of the studio 343 Industries from the previously announced version of Halo Infinite for the console of the past generation of Microsoft, spread on the Web.

The developers subsequently categorically rejected this scenario, but fans still cannot forget this story: it is not for nothing that Mirshak did not indicate Xbox One in the list of Halo Infinite target platforms.

It is also noteworthy that a few hours after drawing attention to the situation, Mirshak nevertheless added a mention of Xbox One in relation to Halo Infinite to his LinkedIn page.

What exactly explains this behaviour of the developer – the range of responsibilities (maybe the Xbox One version was not included in them), forgetfulness, inattention or a banal mistake – is still unknown. Mirshak himself did not comment on the situation.

Halo Infinite is being released for PC (Steam, Windows 10), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, according to official records. 343 Industries strives to make the game “look as good as possible on every system

Halo Infinite was originally planned to be released simultaneously with the Xbox Series X and S in November, but due to development problems, it was decided to postpone the release until 2021 – specifically in autumn.
