Huawei will probably release its laptops with this OS

It seems that next year, Huawei is going to either release HarmonyOS for PC, or release computers directly with this operating system.

At least, Wang Chenglu, former president of the software development department of Huawei Consumer Business Group, answered the corresponding question in the affirmative.

Unfortunately, there are no details yet. Huawei talked about HarmonyOS for PC back in 2020. In 2021, the Qingyun L410 laptop was released with the Kirin 990 SoC and the ability to install this OS, but the PC ran UOS 2.0 out of the box. Probably, now we are talking about the release of either the latest HarmonyOS 4.0 or HarmonyOS 5.0 for PC.

HarmonyOS is a next-generation operating system that allows developers to write apps once and run them on multiple devices. Huawei is reportedly working to replace Windows on its PCs with HarmonyOS. A former Huawei executive claims that HarmonyOS for PCs will be released in 2024.
HarmonyOS was launched in 2019 and can run on a wide range of smart devices, including phones, tablets, TVs, cars, smartwatches, and smart speakers. It enables different smart devices to speak the same language.
Huawei plans to create a version of HarmonyOS that will replace Windows and Linux on personal computers. HarmonyOS 2.0 is expected to replace Windows 10 on Huawei PCs.
