Heavenly Bodies Space Puzzle Trailer Reveals Communication Tower Construction And Fossil Mining
Studio 2pt Interactive has presented a new trailer for the space puzzle Heavenly Bodies. The video shows two gameplay scenarios – building a communications tower and mining. The game will be released this year on PC ( Steam ), PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
In the first scenario, users are asked to build a Data Tower to connect space and home. The process includes connecting segments and tuning a satellite dish. In the second, players must extract minerals from the asteroid belt. We’ll have to use different techniques and avoid collisions with celestial bodies. In Heavenly Bodies, everything is constantly moving, so, as the developers note, these tasks are not as easy as they seem.
In the trailer, the authors drew attention to the control features in the PlayStation consoles’ versions. The analog sticks are responsible for hand movements to the sides, and adaptive triggers must be used to capture objects. Foot control is tied to R1 and L1. Previously, the creators noted that they are considering adding support for the tactile feedback DualSense. This would allow you to feel objects slipping out of your hands and the density of objects. For the PC version, you will also need a controller – you won’t play with a mouse and keyboard.
In Heavenly Bodies, players will have to control astronauts in outer space. Events take place in the 70s of the last century. Previously, the developers said that other scenarios would include assembling space telescopes, keeping solar panels running, and studying space botany. The steps for completing each task are detailed in the virtual guide. Various troubles can interfere with the process – space debris flying into the astronauts, power failure, or capsule depressurization due to a collision with an asteroid.
Heavenly Bodies is primarily designed for solo play, but it will also feature co-op missions. Initially, the puzzle’s release was scheduled for August 2021, but now the authors do not specify the release month. The game will only be available in English.
In the past, 2pt Interactive has released the free physics arcade game Pogocat! for iOS. She has a 4.5 / 5 user rating on the App Store (172 reviews in total).
