Heaven’s Vault Archaeological Adventure Coming to Switch in Late January 2021

British studio Inkle announced in its microblog that the archaeological adventure Heaven’s Vault of 2019 will reach the Nintendo Switch at the beginning of the coming year.

Heaven’s Vault will go on sale for Nintendo’s hybrid console on January 28th. Despite the relative proximity of the release, the game does not yet have its own eShop page.

In a tweet under the main post, the developers apologized for the delay in comparison with the already released versions and admitted that the porting was difficult for the team: it was not easy to achieve smooth gameplay on the Nintendo Switch.

“If you haven’t played it yet, the [Switch version] is the ultimate Heaven’s Vault experience. A mixture of the graphic novel, adventure and science fiction will be available to you even on the couch, ”the authors promise.

Recall that in Heaven’s Vault, players get the role of the archaeologist Alia Elasra, who goes in search of her missing colleague. In the process, the heroine will have to travel along cosmic rivers and decipher an ancient forgotten language.

Heaven’s Vault premiered in April 2019 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4. In July, the project also became available on GOG, although initially, the administration of the service refused to accept the new product.

Between the original release of Heaven’s Vault and the Switch version in Inkle, they also managed to release a story-driven strategic adventure Pendragon – the game was released on September 22 of this year on PC (Steam, GOG).
