“I suspect Wizards of the Coast was using lawyers as the basis for devils. They have a whole body of laws, and the concluded pact is holy.  You have to be very careful with the wording of the contract, – said Vincke in an interview with PC Gamer magazine. – The soul coin is mainly composed of the human soul. This is the currency of hell, a method of payment. You will encounter Soul Coins at the start of Act 1. When you go to hell, the main thing is the coins of the soul

According to the developer, in the hell of Baldur’s Gate, 3 players will face constant fear and competition; strict hierarchy, and absolute rule of the sacred law. This will allow players to experience “interesting” moral situations that relate to what is happening in the real world: “If you accepted the pacts that the devils offered you throughout the adventure, that will change a lot

The CEO of Larian Studios also said that Raphael, the devil that was demonstrated by the developers earlier, will offer something to each member of the group: “The consequences of this choice will manifest itself when you go to hell. You will not always know if the group members are fully committed to you

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be in Early Access for a minimum of 12 months. A full release on PC can be expected by the end of 2021.
