Hello Games has taken on the development of “a big, ambitious game”, but this is not a sequel to No Man’s Sky

According to Murray, Hello Games currently has 26 full-time employees. Three of them make up The Last Campfire team, and the rest are helping with the finalization of No Man’s Sky and working on a new game.

Murray calls the project “a big, ambitious game at the No Man’s Sky level” At the same time, we are not talking about a sequel to the space adventure, although the developer decided not to go into details.

At IGN’s request, the game designer also made it clear that said next major project, Hello Games, is currently in a “very early” stage of production.

No Man’s Sky got a lot of attention at the time, not least because of Murray’s enthusiastic interviews, but it missed many of the promised features at launch.

Looking back at the experience of the space adventure, Murray cannot yet decide how much it costs to talk about the new game: “I think about it a lot and still don’t know what conclusion I will come to

No Man’s Sky was released in August 2016 on PC and PS4 and subsequently made it to Xbox One. From the very release, free content patches are being released for the project – in June 2020, the space adventure received cross-platform multiplayer.
