Hisense A7 unveiled – the world’s first 5G smartphone with a black and white screen

The unique Hisense A7 5G smartphone is presented: it is the world’s first device with support for mobile networks of the fifth generation, equipped with a black and white display on electronic paper E Ink.

The novelty is endowed with a 6.7-inch monochrome screen with a pixel density of 300 PPI (dots per inch). The operating system Android 10 is installed with a specially adapted user interface.

The “heart” of the smartphone is the Unisoc Tiger T7510 processor. The chip contains eight cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz, a PowerVR GM 9444 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem with NSA / SA support.

The amount of RAM is 6 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB. Responsible for power is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4770 mAh with 18-watt fast charging.

There are single cameras on the front and back, but their resolution has not been specified. But the possibility of recognizing users by face is mentioned. In addition, a rear fingerprint scanner is provided.

The novelty is focused on reading e-books and documents. The unusual device can be purchased for $ 300.
