“This is our highest-rated game on Metacritic, which is great, but what makes me happy is how enthusiastically [Crusader Kings III] has been received by our players,” Jungerud said.

The enthusiasm of the gaming community, in this case, can be quantified: since the release, over 1 million copies of Crusader Kings III have been sold around the world, and the project itself has received more than 19 thousand user reviews on Steam.

It is noteworthy that we are talking specifically about sales, and not about the number of players, as is the case with other projects included in the library of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service: for example, Battletoads and Wasteland 3.

“The successful launch of Crusader Kings III proves once again the value of owning our franchises and developing them methodically. As most of our most successful games, Crusader Kings III is the result of several iterations, ”said Jungerud.

Crusader Kings III was released on September 1 this year exclusively on PC (Steam, Windows 10). Previously, Paradox Interactive shared its player statistics for the first month of release.
