HMD Global is working on new Nokia wireless headphones

HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand, is working on new Power Earbuds Lite wireless earbuds that have passed Bluetooth SIG certification, according to new data. The device has a model number BH-405, which clearly hints that we have a light version of Power Earbuds, which are designated BH-605.

Nevertheless, the new device will even surpass the original model in some points. For example, Power Earbuds connect to audio sources via Bluetooth 5.0, while the BH-405 will switch to Bluetooth 5.1, which should provide a more stable connection and reduce device power consumption. This means that Nokia Power Earbuds Lite can provide longer battery life than the original model, which offers 5 hours of playtime on a single charge, or 150 hours using a case with a built-in 3000 mAh battery.

It is reported that HMD Global will be showcasing at IFA 2020, where it will showcase the Nokia 2.4, 3.4, 6.3, and 7.3 smartphones. Perhaps, Nokia Power Earbuds Lite will be presented along with them.
