Honda announces its first electric car with built-in Google services

Google integration allows native Google Android apps and over-the-air software updates. The electric crossover will be available with apps like Google Assistant and Google Maps, and will have access to other apps on Google Play. Google integration will become standard on all Acura ZDX trim levels.

Google apps and services are directly integrated into the car. This solution is different from the Android Auto platform, which essentially just projects information from the phone to the car’s media system.
