A version for those who find the usual Honor 80 Pro with a curved display not very convenient
Insider Digital Chat Station revealed the detailed specifications of the new version of Honor 80 Pro – with a flat screen. It was expected to premiere this week on the same day as Honor 80 GT , but the device was never presented. However, the release of the “flat” Honor 80 Pro is just around the corner.
The main difference from the regular version will be the display: instead of a curved OLED panel with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a resolution of 1.5 K, a flat display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and Full HD + resolution will be installed. Thus, the “flat” Honor 80 Pro should become a little more compact. But the frame rate in the new version will be the previous 120 Hz, and the under-screen fingerprint scanner will also remain.
The “flat” Honor 80 Pro will be built on the SoC Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, it received a 32-megapixel front camera and a main one with sensors with a resolution of 160, 8 and 2 megapixels. The battery capacity will be 4800 mAh, it will support 66 W charging. The side frame of the phone will be plastic. The thickness of the device will be 7.9 mm, weight – 186 grams.
