Honor Band 6 unveiled – the world’s first large-screen, slim-bezel fitness bracelet

Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei, has officially unveiled the world’s first full-screen fitness tracker called the Band 6. The device is available in two versions with or without an NFC module. The tracker design echoes the previously presented Honor Watch ES.

The new device boasts a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 194 × 368 pixels, which is covered with glass with rounded edges. The bracelet has full gesture control, but on the right side of the case, there is a physical button designed to activate the display. The device is available in black, gray, and coral colors. It should be noted that this applies only to the supplied strap. The case in all three versions remains black.

The Honor Band 6 boasts support for ten sport modes, blood oxygen monitoring, 24/7 heart rate tracking and more. The NFC version also supports contactless payments and work with a voice assistant. The Honor Band 6 is reported to have 14-day battery life.

It is worth noting that the tracker has an accelerometer, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, and Bluetooth 5.0 module on board. The battery capacity is 180 mAh. The Honor Band 6 boasts a 5ATM water resistance.

The device will go on sale from November 11 for $ 37 for the basic version and $ 43 for the NFC model. The acceptance of pre-orders starts tomorrow.
