Honor announced today, October 26, 2023, its new flagship smartphone at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2023. The main highlight of Honor Magic6 will be the function that allows you to interact with the device using your gaze.
During his keynote, Honor CEO George Zhao briefly showed how the technology would work. In the demo, a woman looks at her phone while a snippet of the Uber app runs at the top of the screen. When you change the direction of view, the application opens completely. Honor calls this technology Magic Capsule and describes it as “multi-modal interaction based on eye tracking.”

Honor Magic6 will also receive a virtual assistant using Qualcomm’s artificial intelligence system on the device.
The assistant can, for example, collect all the videos on a smartphone that meet certain criteria, reduce their output according to other characteristics, and create a new video with a summary.
The device is based on the flagship SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Honor did not specify when exactly the Magic6 will become available. However, Qualcomm says phones running its new flagship platform will begin debuting in the coming weeks.
