Honor has unveiled the first and possibly the last flagship tablet Pad V6

While the US is inventing more and more sanctions against Huawei and its subsidiaries, the Chinese giant continues to operate. So his brand Honor introduced the first flagship tablet Pad V6 based on Android – perhaps this is one of the latest Huawei products based on Kirin chips: obviously, the Kirin 985 reserves, which underlie the device, are still enough for the announcement of new devices, but still, they are not endless.

The device is really curious. It offers a 10.4-inch 2K screen (2000 × 1200 – 16: 9.6) with fairly thin bezels (7.9mm on each side, smaller than the iPad Pro and Galaxy Tab 6) – 84% front plane occupies the display. It is also worth adding that the screen features 100% sRGB coverage and a maximum brightness of 430 nits.

Honor positions this device as a compact and lightweight laptop replacement – it is not for nothing that a convenient keyboard cover is produced for it and the Honor Magic-Pencil is supported (4096 degrees of depression). Both accessories, however, need to be purchased separately.

Thanks to the 7nm single-chip HiSilicon Kirin 985 system, Wi-Fi 6 is supported with download speeds up to 2400 Mbps (solutions with cellular support are not officially sold in Russia). Loud and high quality  Histen 6.1 audio effects is provided by four rather large speakers with deep bass declared.

For more efficient operation, Honor Pad V6 supports the App Multiplier function: multiple windows of the same application can be displayed on a split-screen (this requires support from the developers, but the list of compatible software is growing rapidly). Of course, Android’s multi-window mode is also supported (with the proprietary ability to put applications in small pop-up windows).

Other pleasant features include close interaction with Android smartphones: directly onto the tablet, for example, you can take out the smartphone screen and drag files from one screen to another, manage calls, and so on. The rear camera is represented by a bundle of 13 + 8 megapixels, and a battery with a charging capacity of 7250 mAh promises up to 2 days of battery life.

The Honor Pad V6 is available in black only and includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage (plus support for microSD cards up to 1.5TB). Weighing 475 grams, the dimensions are 243.4 x 162.2 x 7.2 mm. The official cost of the tablet in Russia is 29,990 rubles. Pre-orders will open on September 4 on the official Honor Online Store. At the same time, in the case of a purchase of the device before the full launch of the 18th day, customers will receive a choice of a digital pen Magic-Pencil, a wireless keyboard or wireless headphones, and with a subscription on the website – an additional discount.
