The Apple Car won’t be coming out for years, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported.

He noted that the company is still working on it, but the Apple Car will appear closer to 2030, without specifying a more specific time window.

Gurman’s comment follows another statement by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in late September. He noted that the project is not currently considered promising and expressed doubt that the Apple Car will be able to go into mass production in the coming years.

In March, Kuo said the Apple Car team had disbanded and that the car’s 2025 launch was in jeopardy.
