Together with the new Windows 11 laptops just announced, HP takes the opportunity to expand its catalog of AiO desktop PCs, increasingly popular among professionals and workers who are looking for a space-saving and at the same time valid solution in terms of productivity. The top of the range HP Envy 34 debuts today, flanked by two new models of the Pavilion series and two further proposals for the lower end of the market, probably one of the most attractive for those looking for a valid option to the old and dear towers. The news for the desktop segment does not end there, in fact, the company also unveils two monitors designed for work(but not only), always with an eye to multi-tasking and daily productivity.
Let’s start with one of the most interesting products offered today by HP, the Envy 34 , a high-end Windows 11 All-In-One PC made for professionals and, more generally, for those who work in the world of graphics, editing. and content creation. HP Envy certainly stands out for the generous size of the display, in detail a 34 “(21: 9) panel with 5K resolution that comes with factory calibration (Delta E <2).
A panel of this magnitude deserves a graphics card at the height, which is the reason that prompted HP to integrate a GeForce RTX 3080 Mobile (Review), the top that we can currently expect for this category of systems together with Intel Core 11th gen CPU (up to Core i9 S series). In addition to being the first AiO with RTX 3080, the Envy 34 is also the first to offer a detachable 5MP magnetic webcam, a great option in terms of ergonomics/customization along with the adjustable stand (100mm in height). Finally, for connectivity, we point out that the system supports the Thunderbolt 4 standard which, in addition to performance, allows you to reduce the clutter of cables by using only one for data and power.
Still from a Windows 11 perspective, Pavilion 27 and Pavilion 24 arrive, respectively with 27 and 24-inch panels and resolution up to QHD; these are PCs designed to perform mainly multimedia tasks but, at the same time, valid for managing substantially all applications (or almost). In addition to a good panel and a particularly compact and elegant design, the “multimedia” inclination of these Pavilions also emerges in the audio department by Bang & Olufsen, a now-historic brand on HP-branded systems.
For those who instead aim for a more essential product, always based on Windows 11 and capable of carrying out the classic daily applications, without too many pretensions of course, HP offers the AiOs 27 and 24 that follow the Pavilion variants in terms of dimensions, aiming precisely at users more attentive to their spending budget. The design is slightly different from the models seen previously, while regarding the prominent features we point out the noise reduction with Artificial Intelligence and the privacy option for the webcam. As for hardware configurations, the Pavilion 24/27 use AMD Ryzen 5000 processors, while the HP AiO 24/27 also offers options for Intel models.
It closes with the monitors, the HP U32 4K HDR and the HP M34D Curved which, as the name easily suggests, marries the curved panels and the 21: 9 ultra-wide format. Both models offer a large work surface, of these the 32-inch HP U32 4K is particularly aimed at creators and those who work in the world of graphics; not surprisingly on board we find an IPS panel with 4K resolution and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
In addition to the color rendering (DCI-P3 98%), HP thinks about safeguarding the health and sight of the user by offering an Eye Safe certified display which, thanks to HP Eye Ease technology, manages to minimize blue light. HP U32 4K HDR offers USB-C connectivity with support for 65-watt fast charging.
The HP M34D Curved offers a 34 “ display with 1500R curvature and 3440×1440 pixel resolution . This monitor – possibly a VA – has a very nice ergonomic design; offers 99% sRGB coverage and integrates KVM functionality for use with two different PCs. Good expansion section with HDMI, Display Port, USB-C and a 4-port USB 3.0 hub; USB-C supports video signal and 65 W charging, while there is no shortage of stereo speakers for those is looking for a solution that looks at savings and has no particular technical requirements in terms of audio.
