HTC Wildfire E Lite render showcases a smartphone with a design from the past

Taiwanese HTC, whose smartphones were once very popular, is preparing to release a new inexpensive device – Wildfire E Lite. The render of this device that appeared on the Internet does not allow us to say that it will help the company to strengthen its position in the mobile market.

In particular, there are very wide bezels above and below the screen. The single front-facing camera is mounted above the display, rather than integrated into a hole or notch. The rear has a dual main camera and a fingerprint scanner. In one of the side parts, there are physical control buttons, in the other, there is a slot for a SIM card.

According to available information, the smartphone will be based on the MediaTek Helio A20 processor with four computing cores (up to 1.8 GHz), and the amount of RAM will be only 2 GB. The screen size is not specified, but its resolution is known – 1440 × 720 pixels (HD +). The smartphone will be able to operate in the fourth-generation 4G / LTE mobile networks.

Apparently, sales of Wildfire E Lite will start soon. The handset will ship with Android 10 operating system.
